What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven

I tried all of the lightweight packs in the store with 20-25 lbs (REI Flash, Osprey Exos, Osprey Atmos, Gregory Z65). They are all good packs with decent comfort. But when I tried this 3D pivoting hipbelt and walked the store, the 25 lbs felt like 15 lbs…amazing. You have to try it out yourself. Instead of your hips straining against the weight as you move, the weight feels like it perfectly becomes part of your body and you motion is fluid and not restricted. At first, it feels wierd, and then you will “get it”. This pack is not the lightest, but the same load felt much heavier in the Exos and Flash. Build quality and features look solid. Can’t wait to get some mileage on it. Definitely give it a try before you buy the usual ultralight packs.
